ABOUT

Ginger Lemongrass Tonic. Made in small batches for maximum freshness and taste, using fresh herbs and spices that are freshly ground and brewed to fully activate their nourishing properties.

ORIGIN

An adapted traditional American Switchel recipe with a Southeast Asian twist. The 18th century "haymakers punch" was guzzled down by farmers during long work days to keep cool and hydrated. Made from apple cider vinegar, fresh ginger, honey and then cut with water, the Switchel’s arrival to America is a little hazy. Some say it derived from Oxymel, an ancient Greek medicinal tonic made from vinegar, honey and water. A traditional tonic for vitality, energy, congestion and coughs.

BENEFITS

A proper lemsip. A natural way to relieve symptoms of cold and flu. Ginger heals sore throats and strengthens the immune system. Lemongrass relieves stubborn coughs, fever, and exhaustion. Apple cider vinegar is a natural antibiotic.
